Manager Brand Activation

As Manager Brand Activation you are at the basis of the (digital) success and the unique online proposition of NLinBusiness. The emphasis in your role is on monitoring and activating our brand. Your expertise, innovative strength, and knowledge of (online) marketing and communication determine how easily and efficiently our users, the Dutch SME entrepreneur, are inspired and know how to find their way abroad through our digital channels and physical support centers. You are able to think along at all levels in the organization and through your experience and expertise, you help the organization and its stakeholders in the positioning of NLinBusiness, and of the marketing and communication strategy.

Through your personal approach, you reach our target group, SME entrepreneurs. You identify opportunities and monitor the quality and relevance of our brand and our communication by regularly testing our proposition with and with entrepreneurs. With a “fact-based” approach, you and the team identify consumer insights and commercial opportunities where necessary and translate these into relevant and distinctive (project-based) communication concepts.

With vision and persuasion, you give substance to the development and elaboration process of promotional campaigns. You are also able to apply this approach and strategy to our business partners and stakeholders. You analyze data and test strategies based on new insights. You can take our users and stakeholders with you and inspire them in catchy presentations. You manage our specialists in the field of content marketing/communication and social media by means of current knowledge and experience.

What are you going to do:

  • Leading the brand activation, marketing communication, PR and social media specialists in the team.
  • Reporting to the Digital Platform Director
  • Realizing the communication strategy
  • Translate on & off strategies into communication plans and campaigns
  • Quality control copywriting & optimizing the content of the platform based on business development and user insights
  • Provide input for product development to the Digital development team
  • Drafting fact-based and inspiring presentations for users, management & stakeholders

Who are we looking for?

We are a young organization that has been around for two years. We are therefore looking for an enterprising person who sees a challenge in further shaping a new organization and who can deal well with uncertainty and flexibility. On the other hand, you have a lot of influence in creating your job and the activities you perform. In a sometimes hectic environment you can still keep your goal in mind under time pressure and different interests. You also get satisfaction from realizing measurable objectives. Do you have or are you:

  • Energetic, enterprising and at the same time diplomatic
  • Very skilled in Dutch & English
  • Affinity with (international) entrepreneurship and you have a relevant network in business
  • Available full time
  • A relevant college or preferably university education in the field of marketing or communication
  • Good understanding of both brand development and brand activation, with a focus on brand activation
  • Able to place stakeholders – analytical ability to identify and represent various interests in a complex environment
  • Good software knowledge and experience with CRM systems, preferably Sales Force
  • At least 8 years of proven marketing communication experience in a commercial environment
  • Able to generate innovative and creative ideas
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Result-oriented, ambitious and optimistic
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the talent to encourage others to collaborate
